Never ending goodbyes, excited hellos and watched clocks in between,

Signature dishes, favourite shows and routine cafes,

it's been a long time since

Walks through town, walks with dogs and walks at night,

it's been a long time since

Attractions on par, new hands to be held and warm faces i've liked,

there have been since

Feelings anew, hoping it leads and knowing it won't,

How will i know, where are they now and when will it stop being a long time since
